Important Care Notice:
Wood is a natural material that reacts to changes in moisture. To help prevent warping, cupping, or cracking, we strongly recommend sealing your table after purchase. A quality wood sealant helps slow moisture absorption and release, allowing the wood to adjust more evenly over time. For best results, all surfaces—including the end grain—should be sealed. While sealing greatly reduces the risk of movement, it cannot completely prevent warping if the table is exposed to extreme or prolonged moisture conditions.

My issue with the manufacturing company of these boards is that the holes for the metal dowels are not drilled straight. This set and a previous set of boards the dowels did not line up with the holes. It is if they hire untrained kids to drill and finish out the boards. Advance needs to invest in making a jig to drill the holes in exactly the same place and straight in so the board’s holes and dowels match no matter which way they get put together. How many years have they had to figure it out?
Boards were fine. The dowel holes absolutely did not line up. And some were at an angle as it protruded from the board. Not one board to another, no matter which way the boards were flipped over trying to find an alignment. For that issue it could drop the rating to 3 because it is a process to make new holes properly drilled straight and at the right measure.
The basswood boards are perfect
